Litter picking event 27 March 2026

A litter-picking event is being arranged as part of the great British Spring Clean organised by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

The Parish Council discussed it at their meeting on 10 March and made arrangements as follows:

Meet at Capenhurst village green between 9 and 9.30 on Friday 27 March 2026. Litter-picking equipment will be provided, and filled bags would be left next to the litter bin for later collection.

Everyone is welcome to join in. Some residents have already offered help and it is hoped that volunteers from Urenco will join in too.
