Celebrate D Day on 8th June 2024

Capenhurst and Ledsham, a chance to go back to the 6th of June 1944, to D Day when the Normandy Landings took place during World War II and paved the way for the Allies victory over German control of Europe.

Come celebrate at the Village Hall from 4.30pm on Saturday 8th June 2024. Enjoy free fish or sausage and chips to the first 100 people. Browse a small display in the hall.

We will have songs from the era, the usual raffle, cupcakes and tea for a small donation and we will announce the school competition winners. All proceeds will go to our local Hospice of the Good Shepherd. It would be lovely to see you there.
